Two days of coins prospecting adventure, we went yo a place where the church was built around 1600, we spent good time, however no old coins this time, but I I have the good luck on finding an old ring. You know, always there are somethings close to the rivers, and this time was an old ring..

Not any old coin this and I cant belive it, due to the zone we explored looks like we will be finding a lot of old coins. Well, Maybe nex time,

I was dreaming on we could dig and some Cobs could appear, but not any cob jumped out. jejej

Thanks for sharing the photos Jorgeke.
The cactus growing in the tree is really cool.
Neat looking ring you recovered as well.

What a neat place for metal detecting! Congrats on the ring. Looks like you all were having fun. The pictures are great and the cactus growing out of the knot in the tree is crazy!

I'd be outside all day if the weather looked like it does down there, than up here.

You guys have found some great items. Beautiful country.
The inscribed rock immediately made me think of this chart from Frank Hudson's book on Florida shipwreck treasure. I'm not a treasure sign student, but I'm guessing these are mostly related to Spanish treasure. So, for what it's worth I'm sending it along.

Thank you pepperj

As we said in this hobby…

Worst day Detecting is better than best day in the work.

Or staying home no Detecting

Keep swinging

You find very nice places to hunt. All those old ruins would get my blood flowing! The ring is really cool, hard to believe you didn't find a coin in those places. Next time you will, because you're like the cactus!

Woow

Colorado ( is it Denver) is cold, really cold.

Thank you for sharing the photo.
Keep in touch
I'm just north of Denver. Yes we had some cold air come down from the north. Should see a high of 44° F today. Sometimes that feels cold, but it won't this time, because 20° felt warm with my long underwear on yesterday.

Old places
