if finding 3 dimes from each era is a Trifecta then what is finding four dimes from different eras? i'm going with a home run. My buddy and I went to an old and very small town square that we hammered twice. we went over the same area that we had before but stayed away from the gazebo area as it was new and it was higher ground so we thought that it had been filled in a lot when they built the gazebo. that's what we get for thinking. between us we hit a silver washington quarter, 2 IH's, and 8 silver dimes. First find my buddy gets the Washington and Rosie in one hole so we figure that we should keep going. it was a ball after that. i was surprised to see the Barber and VERY surprised to see the Seated. And you know where the GoPro was right? on the kitchen table where i left it. it never seems to fail that when i don't have it we find great things and when i am using it we find lots of junk...
The metal thing is from the Empire wallpaper and paint store in Syracuse, NY. I think that the Washington metal is from one of those 1950's give away promotions.

Wow, thats awesome! I like the term home run for hitting all 4 dimes!

Looks like a really sweet time, need a good hunt like that out here :occasion14:

Finding a single silver dime is a home run. Finding 4 different varities of the same denomination is a grand slam !!!

Throw a bust dime in and we'll call it a grand slam! Love the little Empire piece.

That's a heck of a day, congrats!!

Yep, I'd say you knocked it out of the park! Great job.
