Didnt find them today, but forgot about 'em

I was searching through one of my drawers today and remembered i had this coin holder with some silver i found in some change...so i took that out and decided i'd post them on here along with 2 boy scout tie holder things (or whatever they are called)....the 2 dimes are a 1956 and a 1959, the buffalo is undated, the nickel is 1958, and the quarter is 1964. The two boy scout things i found down behind my house towards when i first started detecting...hope u enjoy

Very Kool errr was it Kewl?

LoL, just messing with you on the response. IT's great to get to go back and see things you had kept from before. Especially if they are nice bonus's that you had forgotten. IF I had not moved so many times in the Military and had to go through my stuff so many times I am sure there would be some cool stuff I would be re-discovering.

I know for sure I have not thrown away any old coins. I didn't have any until I just recently started MDing. But I have pitched a few things I gathered from other countries during my move. I also had to sell a great deal of things, like a huge amount of German Steins that I had won at their festivals over the years I was there. And I mean a huge amount. LoL they have a game with the ping pong balls. They have a lot of regular glass glasses and some steins. Most of the steins were flawed ones they have gotten because they did not have a super shine, or some other tiny flaw, but cool all the same. When I took them to the flea market they sold like hotcakes. I sold them from $15 dollars for small one all the way up to $150 for a huge one I won for landing and it staying a ping pong ball inside a small teacup 2x in one bowl of balls.

Many of the steins were very awesome and greatly detailed. I sure wish I could have kept them, but I had no room for all of them.

Just in case you were wondering, over 4 years I won over 400 of them. I kept umm I think 10. The ten I have packed away. I won loads of glass glasses that I just didn't keep. No room to keep em and didn't really want them.

Here is the cool part. Since I have a soft touch and was able to put a small spin on the ball many times it would stick in the steins. Now all but one festival usually padded the numbers of balls that I was supposed to get. Example if I was supposed to get 25 for my 5 marks then most of the time after a few bowls they would start doubling it.

You might ask why? Well the way I threw it I usually hit a glass glass on the rebound bounce half of the time. And I would get a stein every 7 to 9 pitches. Sometimes even more. When you have a pile of steins in front of you others think its easy and they start playing. One night I can remember winning a very large large stein and that one I sold to the military club for decoration for $250. THe guy that ran that booth gave me a schedule of all the cities he was stoppin in and when for the rest of the year. When I started pitching that morning not too many peps were around. Once I started and a few steins started piling up more and more peps starting plopping down their cash. Most of them bounced it off the wood and the accuracy isn't so great. Many would do it soft underhanded but without a small spin or just throwing it in general isn't so easy for a lot of peps. So as I stood there playing a bowl about every 5 to 10 minutes, while many others piled up and played away. They guy started raking in the cash. Besides I am sure those seconds Steins and glasses didn't cost them much. So paying someone on a HOT streak and getting many many more peps playing is a great idea.

SO that and many other things I have had to pitch that I would have loved to hang on to. My wife will be so pissed if we ever get our own home. LoL I am not a huge horder, but I will collect.

Great finds Bobby Congratulations on your rediscovery of it.
