✅ SOLVED DIAMOND CUFFLINKS FROM ITALY (CAN YOU id THE MAKER?)

HI GUYS, IVE BEEN TRYING TO IDENTIFY THE ITALIAN JEWELRY MAKER FOR THESE STUNNING CUFFLINKS. THEY WERE SOLD BY BERGDORF GOODMAN IN THE FIRST HALF OF THE LAST CENTURY (AROUND 1920-1960 I THINK). I HAVE INCLUDED A PHOTO OF THE MARKS.

750 = 18k GOLD
STAR MARK = MADE IN ITALY
FI= FIRENZE/FLORENCE

329 MOST PROBABLY (OR 328)= WHAT JEWELRY MAKER

CAN YOU GUYS HELP?

You can search by mark (per marchio) at the link below by selecting the two-letter Province code (provincia), entering the registration number (marchio), and then hitting the search button (cerca)

Unfortunately, the database only includes marks which are still live, but not those which have been discontinued because the manufacturer is no longer in business.

Sadly 328-FI has been withdrawn (so that’s a bummer if your mark is 328), but 329-FI is Societa’ Belfiore Giuseppe di Belfiore Gioielli S.R.L. E C. S.A.S. as per the search result:

They were established in 1948 by Giuseppe Belfiore as Belfiore Giuseppe & C. snc, Via Giacomo Puccini, 8, 50065 Sieci - Firenze (FI) - Manufacturer of Holloware, Flatware, Giftware and Jewellery, in gold and silver and assigned the registration mark on 21-1-1976.

If anyone knows of a good way to research obsolete Italian marks, I would appreciate it too.

THE MARK IS ACTUALLY "329" SO THE PIECE HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED AS:
"Belfiore Silverware and Goldware" is an Italian family owned company founded in 1948 by Giuseppe Belfiore and established in Florence where it employs a staff of 25.

so this would identify my cufflinks with a center diamond and starburst giulloche enameling....
VALUE: $1500USD + about...so a great find ;-)
