Got out with a bunch of local guys for a day of hunting in Chesterfield, NH. What a day!
I got a new DFX300 over the winter after selling off my Teknetics T2 and this was my fourth time out with it. To make a long story short. I found all these coins 7" to 8" down in a small field loaded with square nails. All thee were "firsts" for me.
The 1843 Seated Liberty Dime came first. My first Seated Liberty anything.
The 2 Reale was next. My first Spanish silver and oldest silver.
Then came the 1876 Seated Liberty Quarter. My first S.L. quarter and actually my first ever silver quarter.
Definitely LOVING my new DFX300!
