Detectors and motorcycles?

Any one ever throw there detector on their back and take off on their bike to find new places to detect? I find it allows me to indulge in both of my passions at the same time.

Morning Diggit Happy Easter Got out yesterday too. Just clad, but was nice to be out. Did you find the ring? With my detector bag on my back, i'll be the one who looks like he's carrying guns. Once an old couple at a mom and pops cafe out in the country told me no guns allowed and i would have to leave. Had to show my detector in order to stay. They thought big bad biker on a harley carrying guns. I wave to everbody too. Enjoy the day. If you get out ,find a gold...uh....anything. HH

Hey
Didn't get back out there today .Didn't find the ring .I look like have guns strapped on when I go to play pool . I don't yet have a bag for the detector it goes in the sadle bags .I've gotten three defferent places they say the ring could be .So I just go out there for a quick fix . Ware are you based out of ? I'm in P.A.

I have people in cali and arizona ya never know when you might see the old kaw.

diggit; You bet. Let me know if your going to be out here and we'll join up. If i get out your way i'd love to be shown around. I've always envyed the history there and the detecting possibilities. I've panned occasionally, and get some flake gold. Yes, you can pretty much ride year round here. If you get out to your people in Arizona, bring your detector. They do a lot of detecting for nuggets in the desert there, and are pretty successful. See ya later HH

I have some nice old places to hunt around here .the oldest thing I have found is an 1883 indian head penny at an old church . the rev. at the church gave me the hole history on the church and that it wasn't the original place .I still haven't gone to the original one .maybe this summer? .what type of detector are you usin I have a garrett.I like it .

Hi diggit; Thats an older coin than i've found. I've got a few in the 1890's ,but can't break the 90's barrier. I like older churches, with as much traffic that goes in and out. You know that things are going to be dropped. I've only done a few, but i don't remember not getting a few good coins. There your dealing with 2 to 300 yrs or more of history. Here if i find a place 150 yrs old i'm thrilled. You lucky dog! I envy you. Garretts are a good machine, i had a couple of there deepseekers.. I've got a minelab exp II and a musketeer advantage and whites dfx right now. Good luck on the church. Anxious to hear how you do. HH

I might go out this weekend to the old church . My brother just got a 10" coil for his detector and he wants to go and test it .Then there is an old farm house it's about 150 years old .I'll let you know what turns up .

My brother uses a bounty hunter 505 he would realy like to get a tesoro cibola.
We have both used bounty hunters .they are good starters .his works very well
the weather is starting to change here again it's going to rain and get down into the 40's saterday .So I'll be wet and cold detecting .I started the kaw today and road it .Felt good to be back in the sadle again . I might get out after work tomarrow .I work in an old town in OHIO I would like to go around some of the homes there and see what i might turn up
