I send in my Pistol Probe for service to replace the speaker which got wet and quit.
This unit was now my backup unit. It was beat and out of warranty. I had glued PVC
pipe where the barrel met the body of the unit because I had snapped off the barrel
by repetitively scraping it on the ground too hard.
I was willing to pay for the repairs because the pinpointer depth is unmatched by
anything else on the market that I am aware of.
It went out on July 30 by priority and arrived yesterday 8/5. 6 days including shipping both
ways.
My surprise was when I opened the box. The repair slip said the unit was not repairable
and out of warranty. The replaced it with a rebuilt unit that for all purposes looks like new.
The bill..............NO CHARGE.
I believe they did me a big favor and I really did expect to pay for the work.
