Yes...he has done very well. And, at the compromises of accepting all targets -40 to +95, MUST reduce your filters to either 2 or 3 and sweep the coil like it's a Minelab SLOOOOOOOOWWWW and good targets dug at common depths. Using his settings and hunting techniques, one would expect a person to do very well. He comes across as a very seasoned hunter also.

But where is a test using the ACE Series? Aces don't have adjustable filters and can be swung at lightning speed. This is my objective, non-biased opinion based on countless hours using the ACE with all 3 available coils and using after market coils on Garrett and other makes/model detectors.....

Don't get me wrong....I would like to see some great improvements on accessories, but I haven't seen it yet on a Garrett machine with this new coil. Yes...it looks pretty cosmetically, and gives the impression of its size that it should be a killer, but I haven't witnessed anything at all as far as it's performance on a Garrett detector on a Garrett forum. Anecdotal reports aren't always a good measurement of reliability for an accurate report on an item being field tested.

Well I'd be more then happy to give this coil a test run or two, and report back objectively my findings. Just need donations to afford it, care to contribute John ? ;D :wink:

So 2 posts at another forum and 12 posts here, not to mention I've been hearing allot of bad stuff about the Fisher f75. Not exactly what I would call a valid resume' for references. :wink: :D

Hi all,
I've asked an italian on-line retailer and he swear it will works well on ACE and the connector fit. It also sell an ACE pack on the E-Bay loaded with the SEF coil... I'm very interested in this product but I also would wait some 'official' review.

So far Dave, the ace version is being sold in Europe only. I posted a link above to a french distributor, but they currently retail for $234.00 U.S.D.

Like Ian Conway, i am impressed with the SEF coil. I have one fitted to my MXT.But i have the 10 x 12..I love this coil.It is deep seeking,very sensitive and lightweight.It can also get good targets close to trash.I was thinking about selling my MXT before i bought and tried the SEF.There is no way that i would sell the MXT now.I tend to be using it more now than my X-terra 70. :D

Yes, I would like a review of this coil on the Ace 150 before I buy it. Otherwise I'd have to upgarde to the 250 and get a Detech Coil or the Excelerator 14x10 or GArrett 12x9. Any feedback welcome!

I would really like to try one of these coils out. I noticed they are also for sale on Ebay.
