As we had run out of nearby known options I asked Cru'dad to arrange a visit to one of our furthest away (newish) permissions. We first tried it in Oct 2019:

& haven't returned since. It was playing on my mind that I had promised the best find in the above post (Lead Ampulla) to the owner, so I wanted to call in & drop it off with the best 2 Roman Coins as well. (now that COVID rules have improved)
It also meant we could reaffirm our permission & find out the full extent of their land (we secured another 3 fields some distance away that a detectorist found a couple of Roman silvers & hasn't returned in ages), plus see if they had anything available now.
On the way into the farm we saw some small areas of failed Wheat, that we could try, if it were their land. They confirmed it was & told us there was a game strip in another field with a large failed area that often floods.
I really don't know how we do it but the Roman Silver (with no other signs) was in one of the small areas of failed wheat that we had first spotted, so not only 1 hour into our first hunt, job done. My first find was a Neolithic flint whilst walking into the start point of the small patch. (ended up with another broken one)
Denarius of Antoninius Pius AD145
The previously flooded area was a bust, but that's no surprise. A few odd things came from the game strip that was on higher ground;
Crotal Bell
1807 Penny
Medieval Swivel
Broken Spec Buckle
A small 3 hour hunt.
