That is 750 not 150. 750 is the European Mark for 18 KT. Nice chunk of Gold! How many grams does it weigh?

Assuming it's genuine 18K gold, it worth about 3/4 of it's weight in gold, unless there is more value as a piece of jewelry. Does it still work?

That is an Italian hallmark. It was made in Vicenza, Italy. I would still have it looked at by a jeweler. At today's prices, if authentic, it would be worth a nice little chuck of change. I have seen 3 similar "Italian" 750 mesh bracelets and all were fake.

All second Diggummup and call it fake.

heavy "carpet" jewelery was for a time together with fake persian rugs an known shill in europe.

Kinda of "I am an italian jeweler (turkish antique rug trader/greek businessman), my car is dry and broken my credit card does not work here, gimme Euro300 and I will give this bracelet/rug/ring worth 500/800/1000"

Also "deposita" sounds deposited -> plated anyway.

Sorry!

It does look plated; you can see where the plating has rubbed off at places.

diggummup is correct that the makers mark shows it was made in Vicenza, Italy. To expand on what he said that particular style of mark was used between late 1944 and 1967, so your piece is older. Have it looked at by a qualified jeweler, that company definitely made that type of bracelet. Here are examples of a couple of them that were sold:

Scroll down the page.

I couldn't find any information on who owned that particular makers stamp (224 vi), but I did see information that says it was circa 1957.

If you can give me the weight I'll tell you what it's worth. Looks to me like it could fetch $800 and up. I've seen bracelets like this before. Remember, 750 is 18k which is 75% gold.
Just do me a quick favor and see if it attracts to a magnet, I'm pretty sure it's real as it shows appropriate wear for 18k which is softer that 10&14k

gunner45, It looks pretty chunky, I'd be willing to bet that it weighs around and ounce and a quarter, +/- 4 grams.

If that is solid gold, I most definitely would not sell it for scrap. You rarely see such intricate craftsmanship like that anymore. More and more antique jewelry businesses are opening all of the time as the demand is high. You'll get more money selling it than scrapping it. Forbes Magazine recommends buying Art Deco, gold jewelry than gold itself as it is worth far more and increases in value a lot more too. Good luck to you and I hope that it is a genuine piece.
