I found this at a house site that was built on a carriage house for a 1600s estate. Door related? Probably brass.

Looks like a mangled drawer pull plate.

Sorry Captain .. looks like we were typing at the same time. I agree - drawer pull.

Looks more like cabinetry hinge to me than a drawer pull. I don't think the handle portion of a drawer pull would be flat. That would make it difficult to access with the fingers if it laid flat against the drawer.
But hard to tell with pictures provided and I'm certainly no expert on the subject.
Is the hinged portion broken possibly missing screw holes for the door?
Is one side of the hinged portion flat and the other shaped similar to the main body or are both sides flat?
