So I bought this Declaration of Independence at a thrift store a few years back for 10$, figured the frame was worth that and took a chance on the declaration. It was framed by a Artistic Framing/Oak Ridge Portrait Studio 749 Main Street West Oak Ridge Tn and what I could find on that store it closed sometime in the late 60's. The frame is well built and the Declaration is on parchment paper or vellum with some sun bleaching so I assume it has been in this frame for quite a while. It measures 13x15.

Awesome piece, congrats! :occasion14:

It's likely a modern replica printed mid 1900's. I got a replica I picked up from the NRA in 2010 and I cherish it.

"And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the Protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to eachother our Lives, our Fortunes, and our Sacred Honor."

Freedom is priceless

I paid $1 for a copy of the Declaration and Constitution that look just like yours at a garage sale 10 yrs ago, framed.
A google search shows these are not not worth much, but are priceless to me.
FYI I have been to the Archives in DC the actual documents are 3 time this size.

Cool piece though not worth a ton
