decent headphones for under 50 bucks??

Dont have a lot of spare change and Im looking to get a decent headphone for my detector. Any suggestions

First, welcome to the forum, fastinjun.
Second, the best quality headphones in your price range will be Foss, in my never humble opinion. You can get a pair of Foss brand stereo headphones at Radio Shack and Best Buy; Circuit City, etc. Get the ones with full ear cups; not the little, stick-in-the-ear type.

Now, if you can set aside a little bit more (like twice the amount), to '$100, you'll be able to get the top line phones---RATPhones, Black Widows, Yellow Jackets (?), etc. The way I did it was, I got the Foss at Best Buy and used them until I could save up for the RATPhones (the very best phones available).

You can always check on E-Bay. I pick up a set for$29.00 made by white's. Brand new!

I just got my set at Radio Shack for $29.99. Preety good set to. I think they had two sets cheaper and a bunch more for more money.

Well, I splurged and got myself a Gray Ghost, havent recieved it yet but Im real curious to see how it performs.
