Last week I came across a spot where they must have had a coin hunt for the kids. Had the 11 inch stock coil on and found these 101_8942.JPG:hello2: in about an hour in a 10x10 area. Went back for an hour today with the Sun-Ray X-5 to cherry pick and get away from all the pennies, but there were pennies in almost every hole with other coins, never dug penny signals, and there are still lots there. Then the surprise a 1938 Brasil 200 Reis:headbang:101_8944.JPG101_8945.JPG101_8946.JPG Lot of clad for two days an hour each:laughing7:

Probably an area where rides are set up over the decades, or maybe where vendors set up over the years. Congrats on the cool foreign coin and the clad haul. Ya gotta love a target rich environment.

Not in the carnival area. Close to an exibit building for animals, maybe vendor area at one time, kinda out of the way spot

Nothing better than getting exercise while enjoying your hobby !
