Dart Point?

I was going through some of my finds from the other day and I found this point. What type is it if anyone knows. Found in N Georgia. Shoukld be Archaic Period. The base is ground down.

You sure that is woodland and not a Jeff point? The flared auricles give it the Jeff look and see how yours is worked all the way around. Not like Rocks..his looks only worked on the one side of that channel....
 

If the base is ground which it possibly looks like that piece could be a paleo Jeff point.

It would be the first paleo point I ever heard of from where I found it... I'm open to look into it that's for sure.

8,000 is feasible at that site..transitional could very well be.

Thanks for the results on my piece it figures cause that is all I found that day is scrapers and knifes. Still looking for that point. I would of went Sat but I caught a cold..and have a sore throat.
