Dark Green Obsidian?

Found this rock today on a beach in Nova Scotia, Canada...Fundy Shore. Not sure if the photos show but it is very glassy...if that makes sense. Could this be a chunk of obsidian? I do know that it's not a chunk of melted glass...I've found many of those and this is not that. Thanks for looking and your input!

I'm leaning more toward slag from a furnace. That also, essentially is glass from freed burned quartz from the original ores.
