Agreed, I have found a few rings myself, one even had a teeny diamond in it and had no ID so there was no way of tracking down an owner. Now, if it was lying on top of the grass I would at least call the park district too see if someone had reported it lost, but of course would not give any info out so the info would have to match exactly, including what park they lost it at.bomber said:school ring..sure,somebody drops a wallet in front of me..sure,BUT i find a ring whether its in the water or land and no kind of ID...its mine
Seeing on how few I find (heck my record is 4 (real rings) in a year, and that in another state LOL) I doubt that would come into play.
BTW a .925 bracelet (school yard) and not so great photo of the ring.
