DAISY Cap Gun! Really cool, Age?

Yesterday when i was out i found this very cool looking daisy cap gun. Its solid metal and it quite heavy and has a really nice design in the handle. One side of the gun is in good condition but the back side has some small rust spots. Anyone have any information on this one? I haven't cleaned it because i don't want to damage it. Thanks for reading
