CZ-21 help

Great post Theover!!! I have had times where the CZ20 would "false" in the shallow saltwater and it was because I most likely had the sens set to high for the location. Different areas have different salt concentrations mixed with black sand to wash over the coil. There were times I thought the CZ-20 was deeper than the Excal too. Now don't anybody get their panties in a bunch as they are both great detectors and if I had to choose only one for saltwater I would really have a problem deciding. :coffee2:

I too have a CZ-6a with all the coils and it is highly under rated.

Yep, awesome good tips from therover again!

Hey Gleaner1, I've found that the CZ is a great fast machine for shallow to intermediate depth coins, but not the deep stuff. It has awesome great recovery time but targets at depth need that slow swing help for separation in the trashy areas.

Autotune and pinpoint mode both really help clear up if you're looking at a coin very near a nail or other junk target. That's what has made this such a long-lived popular line of machines, the ability to determine that there's a probable good target in the mix of junk down there. But that requires slow going and letting the rig talk to you a little more.

BTW, looks like an awesome hunt you had there.

Lowbatts it would probably take a hundred more years to equal the finds I have made in the last twenty. But I'm gonna give it a hell of a try.
