I love those caltrops. Lots of people have bayonets in their collection, but I have never seen the caltrops. There has to be a lot more of those to find. Doubt they would drop just two to stop the horses.

Looks like a great site. My parents owned a house on Kiawah Island since the early 80's. I would love to line up and hit some sites while on vacation.

Great finds buddy!!!! Those Yanks had quite an army amassed out there on the South Carolina coast to the East of Charleston, near Sucessionville and out towards Battery (Fort) Wagner. You must have found some of their camping spots...What I like to call "Honey Holes" Awesome finds Captain!!!!
