I was clearing out my DVR the other night and there was an episode of 'If Walls Could Talk' that I had not watched. The first home was the Laurel Lodge which was an old B&B in Harper's Ferry. The sidewalks into the home had three ring bullets and bayonets embedded in the concrete. They were in different designs and at one time there was a pistol and rifle embedded over the front door. Both the guns were pried out and missing.
Apparently the original owner/builder was a big civil war buff and he liked to show off his collection the the public. The new owners after finding out it was an old B&B at one time changed it back into one.
