got me a ctx 3030 today with a 17" DD coil man is it big also came with a 11" coil nice rapture sand scoop 2 1/2 years of war. left he bought it in april …. he said bad back …….. but by the way he talked it was over his head way over….. so got all for 1600.00 YAHOOOOOO!!!! question ? has anybody used the 17" coil HOW DEEP WILL SHE GO !!!! i thought after 12-13" coil it was just mines bigger than yours is this true ….. i wanted the smaller coil like 4x6 coin shooter size ….. should i sell or is this the cats meow…. for the beach…..

I doesn't get much more depth, but, it covers a lot more ground which is key at the beach. I'd keep it and use it. Add a small coil for the fire rings and trashy parks/schools.

I find the stock coil the best for the beach. Congrats on the machine!
