CTX 3030 new issue with shaft assembly

We went through a lot of trial and error nailing down the issue. Mine lab wanted to send me a replacement lower but Keith and I both had come to the conclusion of was the upper not the lower. After receiving the new machine from him it was indeed the upper and not the lower. So I would have been out even more time setting on a defective machine. It's not like I could have just kept the other machine or anything. He did have all my payment information address and so on. Yes there was a lot of trust there to send the new machine out. There is for sure a great deal of true that went on there but this was not my first large purchase from him either.

I would like to think there was a great deal of trust within him and I that allowed him to feel comfortable enough to do this.

I do also think on the other hand that he would have went above and beyond what he had to do as a dealer to fix the issue. He simply could have handed me over to mine lab and let them figure it all out and that could have taken who knows how long.

Keith at Fort Bedford Detectors is a top notch dealer to work with and the above posts do nothing but add to his reputation!

That's another reason why I purchased my CTX 3030 from Tony Stevenson @ Fort Bedford Detectors. Their reputation...

FORT BED METAL DETECTORS. Keith has gone way above and beyond what he had to do. He could have just told me to contact Minelab for the repair or fixing the issues.
After getting my new unit it was indeed the upper shaft and not the lower with the issues.
He sent me a new unit and got be going. I cant say enough about this man. He answered the phone at all hours and called me back every time. Even text me along the way to make sure everything was going good and kept me in the loop every step of the way. Ill put it in perspective. I received my first detector Tuesday night at around 6. Made my first call at about 9pm.
By Wednesday he had a new unit in the mail to me and i received it today. He even made sure it was all good before sending out the second unit.!!!!!!! Great place..Great Man..

Keith is the man. He answers his phone, emails asap. He works hard to get things worked out well. No mumbles from this man. Top shelf for sure.

I like those cases, but I went for a smaller Pelican case for compactness.

I do have to remove the coil from the shaft, and the shaft from the main unit to put it in the case, though.
