CSA Button and Other Relics

Searched a new area today and found .69 caliber mini balls, a round ball, two eagle buttons, a kepi buckle and a J Hook. As I walked back to the truck I got an iffy reading and decided to dig it. out popped this CSA button, the first one I’ve ever found. Made my day!

I’ve been hunting a big farm for months and I’ve been finding things scattered all over it. Both confederates and Union soldiers either laid down for the night or just passed through (no major camps). I’ve found mostly Yankee relics, but up until this button, I’ve only found confederate bullets here. I think I could hunt this place for 20 years and still find relics.
