The usual thanks to Land-Mag for his continuous, in the background researching & permission finding. We got 3 or 4 new permissions this year. The intel looked really good, but most of the good crop-marks turned out to be pre-Roman. Although East-Side West turned out pretty good for us.
On the hourly front, I've had to work more days this year & I didn't get near to the 500 hours I aim to do but Cru'Dad & I did the following:
Cru'Dad 398.25
Cru 424.75
Total 823 hrs

Overall for the hours we did, they were well used on productive areas, very little wasted time. The 2 Celtic Gold Coins I got this year happening pretty early & I've said it before, I only need 1 to make it a good year in my eyes. Strangely we had no Celtic Silver, first 0 in many years! We had a strong year for Hammered & Buttons.

A couple of highlights would be Cru'dad's Roman Gold Ring, which I believe will be a new variant of a very rare type & my Sceat that is the first one recorded ever:

Plus I got my oldest coin ever at 112BC!

The great results are directly related to the amount of hours you put in.
Well deserved.
P.s. I noticed that Saxon Bronze is the rarest item listed.
Is that cause of your general location or something else?

Yeap, you guessed it, Saxon bronzes are regional & we are in a silver only region, so it would need to be out of its Kingdom. Not impossible just highly unlikely.

Cru, you had a 33% decline in Celtic gold coins. You had best watch out. All us yanks will be nipping at your heels in the Celtic gold count if you don't pick up the pace in 2020! :laughing7:

Another awesome year for both of you. Though I think Cru' Dad's ring was my favorite Cru team find for 2019.

Thanks for sharing!

Congrats to you and dad on an exceptional set of finds. We all look forward to seeing what you find next.

Awesome Year!!! Congrats!!!!

Amazing and mind blowing results to say the least. Hope 2020 is a good year for y'all as well. :icon_thumleft:

Congratualtions on the wonderful year! :icon_thumleft:

I've really enjoyed seeing your finds, this year, and appreciate your generosity in sharing your knowledge. Looking forward to another year of cool stuff.

Way to go on another fantastic year! You are like the forum mascot. Bringing home silver and gold and old roman coins left and right lol.

Crusader, congratulations to you and Cru’Dad on another great year. Thank you for bringing us along on your hunts, I always look forward to opening your posts as I know they it will be filled with treasures most of us only dream about. Good luck hunting in 2020, may it bring you the bucket listers you are still hoping to find. Walt

THANKS EVERYONE:occasion14:

Wow, I would have thought it would have taken 2x as many hours to bring in your 2019 haul. Great finds and quantities! Congrats

You and Cru'dad crushed it! You all have enough for your own museum:icon_thumleft:
