Found my first crotal bell. And correct me if I am wrong a (brass railroad padlock).
Union Brass Mfg Co. Chicago. GHRR.
The earliest plat book made in my area of Michigan is 1864 and it shows a structure where I found these. (Current owner who’s family owned this property for the last 100 years never knew there was a house there.
And I possibly found a piece of broken crotal or conestoga bell.

Great looking R/R lock.
That's an early bell.
Congrats on the recoveries.
As well as it being your first bell.👍

I just noticed a engraved horse and initials on the bottom. I can only make out (W.E.)
This was next to road and I was expecting trash, glad I dug it.
