So quiet you can hear a pin drop...you look left, you look right, the wind picks up slightly, a squirrel scampers into a hole, a leaf blows by, your pulse quickens, your hairs stand on edge, and you feel alive. You truly feel alive. Every breath goes noticed, every movement calculated, hearing heightens, pupils dilate, nostrils flare. Have you ever experienced it?

Out in the middle of nowhere with my BH Discovery 2200 tromping through the wilderness and after many hours of silence.... she goes bleep.
The moment when you first cross eyes with a Cougar, Bear, or a Wolf.
LOL... The moment when you realize that a Pack of Wolves are stalking you and still have to walk 10 Miles back to the Cabin.
The moment when the perfect cast is made under a tree while fishing for monster Smallmouth Bass.
The moment just before the trigger is pulled when harvesting wild animals.
Last night just before I tasted "Duck Confit Poutine" for the first time.
