Hey everyone, happy Thanksgiving!! I wasn't sure I'd be home for it but I just got here. Worked thirty hours of overtime. I just got the generator going as our power is out. That sure made my wife and son happy! I think my son was having iPad withdrawals as it was dead! Lol! Stay safe everyone!!!

Well critters, I fought the bird and the bird won!
Scott, it's your lucky turkey day, lol. Your little wafer turkeys are cute, too!
I found a copy of the recipe in the old 2nd thread. Here ya go.
Coca Cola Salad
1 6oz sugar free cherry jello (or 2 3oz pckgs)
1 can Oregon pitted dark sweet cherries, drained (not the tart cherries)
1 small can pineapple tidbits, drained (or slices, cut up)
1 cup pecans (or walnuts)
1 cup hot water
1 12oz diet coca cola
Heat water to boil and mix with jello in medium to large bowl. Dissolve jello. Mix in cherries, pineapple, and nuts.
Mix well. Pour in chilled coca cola, mix well. Set in fridge allow to chill and set.
I'll also chill the pineapple and cherries in the fridge beforehand, if I have time. It's a little guiltless pleasure those with sugar issues may can enjoy and not have to feel so guilty. The only sugars are in the fruits. You can also make it with regular jello and coke.
Most the younger girls all go, eeewww, diet, yuck.... me and sis-n-law say, GOOD, more for us! LOL! The square one I made for her to take home.
