Great! We are ready for him!!!

I forget, is the cat squiggy or is that you?

Actually someone dumped squiggy and his brother in the woods by my house and since they were pretty feral I had to trap them.
They are both wonderful loving guys!

why doesn't the brother get any pub or name? or is he george w squiggy?

Never trust anyone who is cruel to animals. A slippery slope to mass murder. An early tell of a complete lack of empathy.

Good question! Well, his name is Brother...So now his name is out! Lol! I would hate to think I am partial...

So true! I have no tolerance for that group!

One of the main criteria for Conduct Disorder in children is cruelty to animals. A very high percentage of those diagnosed with Conduct Disorder go on to develop Antisocial personality disorder.

I hate to even think about the things that happen to some animals..

Hey Spart, thanks for showing up after the battle was over...typical Thracian! You gonna join us?!

NOw Crispin, don't bash the Spartan's. The real ones were the best warriors the world has seen.

Fortunately the world has some kind animal people in it, like the ones that called me to take these guys when they only weighed 50 grams..

KevinInColorado (Provisioner of Libations) due to the legalities of producing moonshine you are absolved of any obligations to fire up any old Whiskey Stills in order to provide the "white lightning" for the following drink recipe. During my previous career as a professional Chef I have had the opportunity to work with some world class Mixologists and sample many different exotic cocktails. This particular recipe is a down home concoction that has the flavor that I'm sure most of us know and love. This by no means is an exotic drink recipe, however if there is one thing that I have learned during my travels, it is "follow your tongue for it will not lie to you". The flavor of freshly baked apple pie is synonymous with the feelings of comfort and warmth. LOL.... This liqueur recipe is sure to provide everyone with both of the aforementioned feelings. Please enjoy this recipe responsibly everyone.

BackBacon's (aka BackStrap) Down Home Apple Pie Liqueur

4 liters of strained or clear apple cider
2 liters of apple juice
2 liters of water
5 cups of sugar
4 cinnamon sticks (10 inch) or 8 (5 inch)

In a large pot bring all of the ingredients to a very light simmer while stirring gently.
Simmer (do not boil) gently for 45 minutes, then let cool overnight or back to room temperature.
Remove the cinnamon sticks before bottling.
There will be no more heat added to this recipe.
The next step is to be done when the pot of liquid is cooled down.
Now add one 40 OZ bottle of Everclear or "grain" alcohol (190 proof) to the pot and stir for 2 minutes.
Bottle the Liqueur in air tight, sterile bottles and store in a dark place as this product has a very long shelf life.

For a twist try replacing the apple juice with Blueberry juice in order to make apple/blueberry pie. Apple/blueberry is my favorite variation of this recipe and I like to drizzle it on vanilla ice cream. Enjoy.
