CRISPINS CRITTERS

And,
Outside my door,
The rumble of distant thunder precludes a disposition towards rain.....

I'm ready for the rain....

I heard, around the campfire, that for the month of July,
in my area, it rained all but 9 days for the whole month.

{Weatherman on July 1st.: "It will rain 7 out of ten days this month.
See ya again next month."}

I was prepared.

How 'bout you?

Are you ready when the rain falls?

Best,

Scott

dang crispin, lost so much this summer...now even my imaginary friends are disappearing...CCR says it all.
god bless. take care. :crybaby2:

Ah, My Friend....

It appears that we are both on the same page.....

I got your back, Friend.

And RC has both our backs!

My best,

Scott

In all fairness, I must
post the original version, by Creedence Clearwater Revival.....

Enjoy and contemplate....

Best,

Scott

PS.

The gist of our posts would be to expect rain, prepare for such and marvel at what we observe.
Folks who rely on sunny days.
Folks who are caught off-guard by difficulties, and Folks like us,
Who welcome new challenges and hardships,
that they may provide relevance to our preparation and ability to adapt, overcome and succeed!

Well played, my Friend!

Ah,
The rain moves in again in North Georgia.

The
"pitter-pat" of raindrops outside of my door helps to create an aura of a study realm......

Along with the music posted on this thread.....

Here's one for right now....

As a break from studying, I'm liable to pull my guitar and strum a few chords....

And that, Kids, is how I study....

I'm old enough to not give a damn about certain topics.
Yet, I'm old enough to be passionate of other topics.

The key to promoting your ideology is: Context, Semantics, and Audience.

Did I miss a trick?

PLEASE!
Let me know!

Best,

Scott

By the way, I got some Bill Elliott memorabilia for sale, If you're interested....

Be Well, my Friend!

Not to appear antagonistically towards Jeff,

I offer a tune to perhaps allay unsubstantiated animosities.....

When the rain is at your door, or in your face upon your daily trek,

Your Friends are the constant in your life that you depend upon.

Thank You, My Friends!

Best,

Scott

Pippin,

We're not imaginary friends, we are here whenever needed, and just like any family, we venture away from here, and might clash, but have here to return to and relax. We all have each other's back, and I for one will defend with words anyone here who needs the help.

Hot and humid all day, and now the front is moving through on the lake with thunder and rain. But like all storms, it blows through and cleans and purifies the air......Just like life each storm brings a new feeling and beginning. Enough from this old forester, I'm only an amateur plilosopher, I'll leave the heavy stuff to the professinals........trying to form a special menu for tomorrow....Later.....Gary

Folks,

Since Scott has handed off the DJ role I guess I'll step in with a few from the hippie era....I hope the younger members will humor me....must be the rain that's making me nostalgic or something....enough rambling.....

Melanie Safka + The Edwin Hawkins Singers - Lay Down.

Bill,

Thanks for my new earworm.

Here's one for you....

Best,

Scott

OK.

I'm posting here, for your amusement and entertainment.

I have actual college papers due.

Can I keep up with my academic obligations?

Or perhaps I am one
who happens to have kept more brain cells after the acid and mushrooms.

Crap! Did I say that "out loud?"

Best,

Scott

The 70's and 80's were wild....
