CRISPINS CRITTERS

Hey all — I just went to Academy Sports. I’m after a new long range rifle. There were NO GUNS on the shelf so I asked. I was told the governor declared a state of emergency 2 days ago. Until that is lifted, the can’t sell guns or Ammo!!!!! I’ve never experienced that. Thank goodness I didn’t need anything!!!

They shut down the RCT, banned rook, and censored us. Granted, we could have toned it down a bit, but it was so sudden, that we could not have cleaned it up if they even asked us nicely.

You didn't see that coming?
Blew out multiple viewers (more so with ladies) with lewdness.
Not everyone is sophomoric....And some lines you don't cross in polite company , without losing that company.

Let alone forum rules.

You want to revolt as a guest? Go ahead.
Guess what will happen...

You are absolutely right.

I decided to walk away for a few days to cool down, because, as you can see, I type stupid things when I'm mad. I was more upset at the banning of rook than anything.

But in those days, I've had time to reflect on my behavior, and I KNOW I was in the wrong. No Christian would consider doing those things, so why was I doing them? I don't know, but it won't happen again.

Carry on, sorry about the thread hijacking...it's kinda what uncouth pirates do...

Repeat...

"Yonder comes (goes) Ms. Rosie, ask me how do I know.
By the way she wore her apron , and the cloths she wore."

Translation , she's a domestic woman. But off duty. (Apron corner raised and tucked in the waist band means don't ask or tell me nothin bout no work).
And...she is not wearing work cloths ,but wearing her "good cloths".

Her apron tells of status (especially beyond the/a house ). But her current attitude is "Big Momma!"

A prisoners only hope (who does not have a Ms. Rosie advocating for him) meanwhile , is that the legend is true.
That of being freed if the trains light falls on you in your cell.

Well, you wake up in the mornin', you hear the work bell ring
And they march you to the table, you see the same old thing
Ain't no food upon the table, and no pork up in the pan
But you better not complain, boy, you get in trouble with the man
Let the Midnight Special shine a light on me
Let the Midnight Special shine a light on me
Let the Midnight Special shine a light on me
Let the Midnight Special shine a ever lovin' light on me
Yonder come miss Rosie, how in the world did you know?
By the way she wears her apron, and the clothes she wore
Umbrella on her shoulder, piece of paper in her hand
She come to see the governor, she want to free her man
Let the Midnight Special shine a light on me
Let the Midnight Special shine a light on me
Let the Midnight Special shine a light on me
Let the Midnight Special shine a ever lovin' light on me
If you're ever in Houston, well, you better do the right
You better not gamble, there, you better not fight, at all
Or the sheriff will grab ya and the boys will bring you down
The next thing you know, boy, oh, you're prison bound
Let the Midnight Special shine a light on me
Let the Midnight Special shine a light on me
Let the Midnight Special shine a light on me
Let the Midnight Special shine a ever lovin' light on me
Let the Midnight Special shine a light on me
Let the Midnight Special shine a light on me
Let the Midnight Special shine a light on me
Let the Midnight Special shine a ever lovin' light on me

"Umbrella on her shoulder"
Does that mean it's raining?
Not necessarily.

In an era when men might own only two pair of pants ,they wore hats. Up till the Kennedy area. Men wore hats.
Once upon a time , if a woman only owned two dresses (when woman did not wear pants) no "civilized" lady in certain regions went out for a formal stroll (if otherwise) without a parasol or umbrella.

Even if she was accustomed to slicing bread thin for economy's sake. She appeared as a lady to be taken seriously should....

True? Or false?
