CRISPINS CRITTERS

Load the v.w. bus! Cruz time. (Your safe Squig, no gas). Looks like a great location.

Been a long time. Mornings on the coast near San Diego were a taste of the best. I recall red fox running around, kids were putting roller skate wheels on down hill skis and "surfing" the hills. Car bodies that people had been through multiple engines and still looked great. Ohh ya. Cost of living higher but what do you really need?. (After a boat and tent.)

Yes, San Diego very nice, had a friend who lived there and loved it..

Santa Cruz still like the 60s in many ways...Jeff will love that..:)
Boulder Creek the same as well..swimming holes in the redwoods..rustic small town..Michael Moore , Neil Young lived here at one time so that might give a sense of mindset. .Pretty remote forested area then Santa Cruz 20 min away...

now just why would i like the 60's? or did you mean jeff of pa?

ok, going to look at my atlas to see where it is

Sigh. Hey Jeff, before you move west i know where you can adopt an "older" kid cheap.:laughing7:

I did like the late 60's, but mostly early 70's

< hippie type

RC at least you aren't far from me

Not far, been quite a difference in temp though. You might have me beat on age of coin finds in time. Not much around me till civil war. People poked around hundreds of years before, just not numbers of them losing stuff.

what part are you? (maybe you already told me) I have relatives in alanson

wasn't the iron brigade made up of indiana, wisconsin and michigan regiments?

Indiana had men in if not all, most all major battles. Michigan was well represented. There is age on east side of state, and north. I,m in an area that saw settlement really after the war. Where i have home wood was cut but no one lived till geez...maybe mid 1900s. S.w. of center of state about half way to big lake. Native relics off limits on public land, the areas i know of have been harassed enough by science and others that i steer clear. But acknowledge them when near. Some mysteries left from copper culture to north and Mississippian culture south and their ties. Others too.

I like all of michigan I have been too excepting detroit. U P was nice

good morning BIll! picker is gone again
