CRISPINS CRITTERS

Folks,

For some reason or other I thought of reposting this song....back very early in the thread our buddy Crispin was going through a rough patch at work.

I could tell things were getting to him and he needed something to get him out of his funk....in any even I posted up this song and I seem to recall he got a kick out of it....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

Just spent the last 1/2 hour in PM's with my Sister.

Haven't communicated for SEVERAL years......

I wonder what has precipitated this connection?

We exchanged phone numbers.

Things are looking good!

Should I call?

Scott

I called.

One hour of conversation left me crying....

Catching up on current events and reminiscing of the past.....

I mentioned Pop and....

Hope ALL had a great Father's Day!

Scott

My Pop's name was Louis....

I guess, the night will now be spent, until morning light, sorting through photographs, from my box of memories,
Of my Father, my Sister and....

Photos, some black and white, some over a half century old....
All that have meaning to me.

After all, Y'all know I have trouble sleeping.....

semper ad meliora.

thus....

semper liber!

I have grown a full beard in the last several weeks.
You would not recognize me today.
The picture of me at the post office is not current.....
Nor correct.....

Searching for those who have tendencies to create mayhem, cause death.....
I'm Silently, vigilantly waiting, watching, ready to be there to save lives!
I am ready within a moment's notice to....

I can say no more.....

Except that I'm ready.

Let's just say that I can bring hell that even satan would avoid.

Try me....

Scott

I believe it has rained everyday since school let out! This is depressing...,,,,

I never did get a "call-back" from the garage door guy.
On the first call, he asked my age....
I wonder if that was a factor? :icon_scratch:

If so, that is a Federal violation.

I might contact him later to ask, to satisfy my curiosity.....

Anywho, Yesterday afternoon I received a call from a property management outfit that I had applied to as maintenance.
It was a "brief phone interview."

I think it went well.

However, it is basically an "on call" position that is really part-time.
It doesn't pay by the hour but by the job performed.

OK. I need to stop the bleeding. At least I'll have money coming in.

Then, about an hour later, I got a call from a manufacturing company that I had applied to for maintenance.
Wanted to know if I could meet with the Maintenance Supervisor for an interview.

Well, YEAH!

So, I have an interview Thursday at 2 PM.

It is for a 3rd shift position.

12-8. All night long.
Right in ole Scotty's wheelhouse! :headbang:

This might be the one.
Not many folks like 3rd shift.....
Taking into account of shift differential, it pays quite well.

I'll mention that I have all of my own tools....

I'd sure appreciate Y'all's best wishes.

"Let's get 'er done!"

Best,

Scott

And I might even still do the part-time property maintenance gig, seeing how I'll be available during the day for more income! Never heard anyone say that they have enough money! :tongue3:

"What need's to be done?"

I like it!
I'll use it!

Thanks, RC!

There is a background check and drug test involved.

No problems!

I've studied for the test, Dig? :tongue3:

Best,

Ramen dinners are gettin' old, Dig?
Once, I ate from a restaurant dumpster. A steak house.

Then, the chef saw me and offered me a job.

I washed dishes sparkling!

Yeah, I've known some hard times.

Haven't we all?

Scott

If you say that you don't know, you are certainly a fool.

Ramen tonight is ready. Dig?

Tomorrow is chicken. Y'all invited!
Always plenty for my Friends!
