CRISPINS CRITTERS

First thing I'm going to do when you move to Florida is teach you how to swim. I was all-state in high school. You hunt the beaches...with rip tides...you have to be a strong swimmer.

Sounds good to me. I know those rip tides are deadly. Popham beach up here in maine is known for the rip tides and they are very up front with warning you about it. I can smell the salt water just thining about it.

My wife can kayak, canoe, and sail; however, she refuses unless there is a high fall untint massage at the end of it.

Sounds like an awesome girl you have there. Do ypu do much canoeing or kayaking there with the gators and water mocassins or however they are spelled?

Ahhh yes, swimming is a very crucial skill that one should try to instill on themselves or any loved one. So... wanna catch some trophy fish and dig up some history at the same time? Here are some pictures of a glacial era beach that I have yet to detect glacial1.jpgGlacial5.jpggalacial7.jpgGlacial2.jpgglacial11.jpg that is in the middle of nowhere. I haven't been there for a few years now.... The last picture is from..... :laughing7: The way to the past....

What kind of dog is that in the pics? I am on my phone and the picture is small. Looks like a great place to detect. Swimming is my weak point for sure and I do need to improve as I want to take a scuba class.

Kevin,

Since you're a Detroit boy....this one's for you.....a bit late just got back from an overnight trip...

Bill

Bob Seeger - Old time rock and roll....live.

Thanks Bill...however despite living in CO by choice (!), I'm still a Detroit boy at heart so gimme some Bob Seager and the Silver Bullet Band or AC/DC...OR cheap Trick any day!

Crispin,

Yup when the tank is empty you've got to recharge the batteries again....here's a song to play as a reminder when you're pushing to hard......take care buddy.

Regards + HH

Jackson Browne - Running on Empty...

Some jet lag, a lot of difficult patients. I'll ramp it up next week after more rest. I have this theory: Everyday one wakes up with only a certain amount of emotional energy. When it is expended...one must sleep or meditate to recover. I'm been doing a lot of meditation this week. Of course, I always have something in the tank to beat down certain red commies around here. ;)

Since you're a Detroit boy....this one's for you..

And Bob Seeger says "ok Detroit, you can sing along to this one if you want to..."

...so, yes, yes I did!

Think I'll listen to some real "Oldies" tonight.

Gonna go through my 78 rpms and think of an era gone by.

Think I'll start with my "Vogue" Picture Disc of Clyde McCoy doing

"Way Down Yonder in New Orleans."

The following Youtube video is of the song, originally recorded on the Columbia label.

Then possible follow up with Ted Lewis, Benny Goodman, and,

well, the night is young and I've many choices from my collection!

Hope all have a GREAT weekend!

Best,

Scott

She's a rescue dog from up North, around the James Bay area. I'm thinking she's a Husky/Wolf hybrid as there are no German Shepherds up on the reserve land where she came from. She's all grown up now and is truly a free spirit that has no fear of a government takeover.

Funny how dogs have more common sense than most people!! My guess is your dog would know enough to drop a mound if he listened to Alex jones.

OK,

One more, that will surely lead to the Blues section of my discs....

This one was recorded in Germany the year that I was born...

and will probably lead me to more current Artists such as....

(my copy is in MUCH better condition....)

and more recently...

Some genre's survived disco, didn't they?

Best,

Scott

Now,

One last offering,

A rememberence of Carol;

A simple woman in need of a simple man. Like me.
Years ago.....

Simply,

It didn't work out.
When she was with me, she didn't worry about anything....

But I will always cherish your memory and your musical inspirations....

Always Rest in Peace.

WOW!

Scott!

What a "Buzz-Kill!"

Dude, it's Saturday night!

Party Time!

Word around the campfire is that you're the next to be voted off....
just so you know....

OK..

For your enjoyment,
I present a favorite song from my adolescence of past. (somehow gone wrong?)

Don't bother trying to figure it out; I've been tryin' for 30+ years....

My Best Wishes,

Scott
