In my last couple boxes I've had a couple coins freshly marked BRC NoAG, BRChiver, BRC Sknk even though I do not mark my dumps. Let it be known I don't take too kindly to this childish crap and I have a pretty good idea of who you are. I know you inspire to be like me, but let's come to reality, it's not possible. A good CRH knows the ins and outs, treats tellers with respect and doesn't dump on their PICKUP bank using taped split rolls brought back in a garbage bag. If you continue to play games you've picked the WRONG one to mess with.

The only reason I'm posting this here is because I only belong and post to this forum and this is the ONLY place I'm known as BRChiver.

To all the other fellow CRH, good luck on the finds!

I recently started seeing nasty comments on coins... I thought it was strange. I'll post them later when I can. I was pissed, I took it personally. I wonder if there is a way to figure out who it is. Let's see if the handwriting looks similar.

Good idea, I'm on vacation with the family this week but when I get back I'll send you a pic.

If I EVER find a 1974D double die and some fool has marked it up, as Yosemite Sam and the wabbit says - This means Wahr! (Yes, I know of the spelling but that's how they pronounce it.)

BRchiver, if you want revenge here is how to get them, you need a magician's half dollar. Then you need a good, small GPS tracker. put the GPS tracker inside, and keep dumping.

I mark a very---very---very (less than 100 halves a year) small number, as "50 Cent". I do it in hopes someone will find one. plus they are more collectable in such a small volume. I'd be mad as heck if an imposter marked my coins as 50 cent, i see your frustruation

What did they say?

Ha ha! I think that most people, if they ran across one of your marked coins, would just say "Duh, of course this is a 50 cent coin" and have no idea that they are holding in their hands a valuable autograph of a famous rapper!

Oh, by the way, did you ever hear the cool mash-up of Shake That Ass called Shake That 50 Cent, by The LoveMakers?

WHAT?!?! So you don't mark them? I've seen a couple - but never thought it was prank marks. Just saw this one about a month ago- (per pic request a few post above...) as I was dumping it jumped plum out of the bin and up on the rail- took the picture right where it landed and forgot about it till this post came up...

Who do you think is doing the mark?

As mixed as they get from bank machine to Loomis bin and roller- there is no sense believing a box with a few marked coins won't have silver. In fact, I almost feel like silver is certain when I do see a marked ender! It don't bother me at all.

I agree 110%. and yeah, dawg, I did.

Maverick:

Really! Those must be worth between $5 and $10 (wholesale back to a magic store vs. retail). Those "estimates" are a guess.

Thanks for sharing.

Good luck to all,

PS: Any two-headed or two-tailed coins?

That's the same writing as the ones I've found. I found one identical to that one. What part of LA are you from if you don't mind me asking? No biggie if you don't disclose I was just wanting to see where it turned up.

Sorry for the delay in posting this; it fell off my radar until I found these two in a box Friday.

Ya, I've been seeing plenty of vulgar writing on some half dollars too. Not on my marked coins as I seldom get them back, but on others. It puzzles me why people would do this.
