Can't help identifying the Wanamaker item. All great finds, but no silver coins? You're such a slacker!!!

Oh no I found 2 silver coins also.
Just thought this stuff was much cooler. Lol

VINO , INTERESTING PLUG GAPPER FOR SURE.

I'm still fascinated by the Wanamaker pin and its rarity. With a bit more provenance I think you have a Banner find. I was doing some research on it and I found the following:

A John Wannamaker New York Enameled Employee Badge, proving that employees did wear numbered badges. I also found a set of custom made John Wanamaker employee uniform buttons indicating that the dress standards of his employees were probably quite high, thus I'm not surprised by the silver employee pin/badge. I also post a similar numbered employee badge from the US Post Office indicating that numbered employee badges were common practice in those days as opposed to today's "Hi - I'm Skippy!" written in Sharpie on a piece of plastic :laughing7:

I also found a Wanamaker Security badge, but I believe these were bigger and had the word Security ostentatiously displayed to warn potential thieves.

Lastly I provide a link to The Department Store Museum Blog site where you can probably contact and expert and get a positive ID on that find piece of history you unearthed.

Really good finds George, that pin is a fantastic find! I love it! The design with the eagle, and the old style number make it very attractive.
