Could be a custom button for a modern item of clothing, but that's just a guess.

Is that a pinback type of button? It looks like a stickpin coming from the back of it.Kinda looks like Hopalong Cassidy.

It May Be A Tom Mix Pin, He Was A Movie Cowboy Star Back In The Age Of Silent Movies Early 1900's. Just A Shot, Maybe PBK Or MONTY Has More Info. trk5capt...

Hey, guys... I checked Tom Mix premiums, and those of quite a few other old cowboy stars and characters. Drew a blank on all of them. For some reason, it sort of reminds me of Red Ryder, but no match there either. Could be just a generic dimestore item— maybe a decoration off something like a kid's cowboy hat, belt, cap pistol holster, etc.

Hmmm. It's not there now.

I'm not sure about this one. It's not listed in the "Hopalong Cassidy" sections of either Hake's Guide to Cowboy Character Collectibles or Price Guide to Character Toys (which includes much more than just toys).

Also, if you do a search on images of Hopalong Cassidy, you'll notice that the bandanna is always worn straight down, with his "trademark" longhorn slide, not at the side as on Dubby's. The hat is different, too. See examples below.

Hey, Willie—

I think that's the Hopalong Cassidy Good Luck coin/token. Here's a pic:

The hat is different, and no bandana.

You're right! However, just so we're clear here, my Reply #11 above is in reference to the pic posted by Willie, not to Dubby's find.

As I said in Reply #9: Also, if you do a search on images of Hopalong Cassidy, you'll notice that the bandanna is always worn straight down, with his "trademark" longhorn slide, not at the side as on Dubby's. The hat is different, too.
