Good looking points rite there, congrats on those.

Awesome points. Were you metal detecting when you found them?

Killer find!
I gotta patent a Flint detector one of these days!

Spectacular!!! You did real well finding those!

Find them together in the hole?

Almost looks like they are all from the same material. Are they?

Those are nice, congrats.
I would love to see that video, maybe show it to us after 10 P.M.?
Found these 3 points in the same hole on a few months back and figured I would post them for the arrowhead lovers on here. The 2 big ones are 5.25 and 5.5". We actually got the larger one on video but we were so stoked I'm afraid it didn't come out G rated so I will leave it off. LOL

Thanks guys. It took me 20 years of digging to find a whole 5" point so to do it twice in a span of a couple days was unbelievable. They were found in the same hole just a few feet apart. Pretty confident the same person made them. Here is the video. Be for warned there are a few &#@$% on here but we all were just excited...also when you hear us talking about its twin brother we are referring to the one I found a couple of days earlier.

Also we dug last night. This site is heavy on Thonotosass's and my buddy found this sweet red one last night and a smoker Bolen a lil while back which I was lucky enough to add both to my collection. These along with the 3 Kirks were all found within 50 foot of each other.

Those are premium points. Nice video

Awesome site..awesome finds!
Reminds me of a couple sites in central Florida.
Sure is hard to get permission in good areas these days.

Wow...I might have nightmares after watching that one...awesome find! In all seriousness, why do you search at night? You guys have found an awesome spot!

Wow! Nice point! The video really adds to the excitement. I caught myself cussing when a stray hand came down grabbing at the point. Once in awhile I will take people hunting with me that have no experience with artifacts. Never fails, those are the hunts that yield nice finds. For some reason, people that know nothing about artifacts always like to bang nice points with another rock. I guess they are thinking about how the piece was made. Still, it ticks me off. Picking a point up by the very tip also hits a nerve with me. Lol! Nice piece!!

Thanks guys. There are several reasons we dig at night. We work all day so if we want to dig on a Friday its gotta be after hours. Its also much cooler and my buddy works on this site so we all just meet up after work and dig until we are wooped!

Fantastic finds. They look great in that frame. I like how loose the soil is and can imagine you can cover some ground quick. Nice job. Those are perfect and big! :notworthy:

Yes it just so happened we had plenty of rain the weeks before I found both of them and the sand was super soft as you can tell. They were only a couple feet deep so during dry season the sand becomes really hard and you have to be really slow and careful if you don't want to rail it!

I have a sandpit that I luckily for the past 5 years I have been the only one with permission to hunt it. Took the day off work to go out and see what I could find.pit1.jpg
