I live nearly in the center of my small town. There is a vacant lot across the street from me that has turned into an extremely dense jungle of trees and vines. Recently a coyote has taken up residence somewhere in it and has apparently had a litter of pups. The guy who lives next to that lot has been throwing table scraps over his fence for the coyotes. What kind of moron does that?
Sometimes they wake me up in the middle of the night when they start yipping and howling. I'd sure like to dispatch them with my AR. Ugh, it's time for them to pack up and move.

Their numbers are pretty strong across the whole country, because they know where the crack of a rifle won't be heard anymore. Thats where they can now be found most often these days in the developed areas. They really yip it up around here some nights.

I dog sitted my youngest daughters dog over the Christmas holiday because she went to Vermont with her boyfriend for Christmas. I took the dog out for a walk in the field behind me and the dog first spotted the two coyotes. The coyotes are very often out in that open space trying to snag a prairie dog. I took the pictures with my phone.

Couple folks on another site I visit are into coyote hunting, and lately they've put down a couple that had mange. On one, it was hairless for over half it's body, and there's no chance an animal in that shape can survive the winter cold. Tough way to die.
