Got my token fix taken care of, two 2 and 1/2 centers, and 1893 Exposition penny, (think it's an Indian cent), Sterling silver salt spoon, and a couple of V's, 1910, 1911. Curious to the button, hoping it's Civil War era. Back is marked, WATERBURY BUTTON CO. Someone told me it's a "Muffin"? Thanks for looking

That does in fact look like a Union Army uniform button. However I'm no Civil War expert. You will have to ask the folks on the other side of the country for a positive identification on the year.

Nice group of finds.
I found a 1910 V nickle yesterday too. ???
Congratulations!

KOOOL KEEPERS

for sure....

Nice finds and congrats.....

Thanks for all the thanks. All these great finds are courtesy of Denver enacting a smoking ban for mom and pop bars and nightclubs, allowing me, and my fellow worker drones to watch the nightclub that we all worked at, and that had been in existence for 60 odd years to quickly go under. Luckily, the "Will Detect For Food" sign is coming in handy. Wave to the pretty car, Carl, wave! Plehbah, you should really let me talk to your girlfriend. It's widely known that in Denver, Colorado, and most of the Mid-West, that once I sit down with them and explain the facts of detecting life to them, they tend to run screaming back to their boyfriends, begging forgiveness, and seem more than willing to just walk quietly and patiently behind said boyfriends, holding their various digging implements, water jugs, large palm fronds for cooling off, etc., and to constantly praise them for filling in their holes, oh so well. That,or they just run away, screaming. Always screaming. Drove by the token spot last week, they outlined some areas with orange paint, and dug out a huge hole next to the alley. They are getting ready to do something there, drive by, and you'll see what I mean. Thanks again for looking, good luck hunting!
