Most detectorists around here don't have the patience for this place any more.
This old park is TRASHY beyond belief and has been hit hard in the past by everyone in the county.

I've been picking away at it for a handful of years with 3 different machines and numerous coils and settings.

Using an Equinox with a 6" coil, in Field 2, and with LOW sensitivity I was able to squeak out a few more keepers.

An 1876 seated dime, an 1847 large cent, and an 183? large cent with initials J.K. etched in.

It's fun to pull keepers out of a place that others have abandoned. They're not there in numbers, but they're still there.
