I was able to hit 2 fields in my local park that they finally cut low for the first time. Lots of 1800’s horse tack. Best finds are coming from 2 new cellar hole sites in the park woods. They are about 300 yards apart, but about a 1.5 mile hike. Definitely worth the hike. 1866 IHP is semi key date, looks like an eagle with shield on he lock slide or gun piece, interesting portrait of a girl sash buckle.

Wow, interesting finds! I especially like the chocolate token thingy :P

Nice digs Thad, looks like a lot of sweet sounding targets. Love the cameo.
I haven't been out much lately. My only notable find in the last month was this little beauty..

according to worthpoint, the Guth chocolates medallion dates from 1905 to 1914, claiming that 1905 was when the company was established until it was sold to another company in 1914

Certainly well worth the wait to get at those fields! Finds were spectacular- I love the early, better date Indians- Congrats!

Awesome finds. What a great day for you!
