I went to a foundation that I have only been too a few times this past Saturday. About 15 minutes into the hunt I get a decent signal and out pops a Large Copper from about 6inches deep. It looked a bit weird because it had two ovals on the one side of it. A little while later I dug the oval button near the foundation. It was quite for a little while only some junk finds, then I got a pretty good signal and dug up the 1831 Large Cent. Soon after that I dug the not so great button and then the 1880 Indian head penny. After cleaning the coins up the reason why the Copper looked funny is it is countermarked twice with E.C on the Obverse. It has the fraction on the reverse so it is Draped Bust or earlier. I been trying to look what E.C stand s for but no luck yet. Overall a decent hunt. Thanks for reading and looking.
