I thought I would throw this question outthere to see what you think? I try to keep an acurate total of what I find per year, as you can see in my Signature that I post. It's mostly just for me and to see how I stand for the year, what I got lucky finding, how I compare to last year, etc. Just for fun, but I try to keep it accurate.
I just went to my first seeded hunt (as you can see on my post in the "today's finds" section, and found a lot of loot. Please let me know what you honestly think.
I go back and forth on it thinking:
"you didn't traditionally find it, it was planted, so how could you include those?"...
"you should count them, as you found them, and they were placed as a challenge"...
"it kind of discredits what you found as who finds 5 ikes and 10 halves!?"...
"It's like someone telling you where a ring or cache was lost. you'd count it"...

Count them or don't count them?

COUNT IT BUT UNDER THE HEADING ( SEEDED HUNT FINDS) DO NOT CO MINGLE THEM WITH STRAIGHT FINDS

I could not tell you ... I will not do seeded hunts..or club hunts......

I count my finds, in numbers and in monetary value. I've never been in a 'seeded' hunt, but if I were it would be counted separately, so I could compare seeded hunts, but they would not be counted in my finds.
I've found lost rings where I was told about where they were, I returned them to the owner and forgot them. If I find a coin without my detector in hand, I don't count it, but the hobby makes me aware of looking for circular objects on the ground.

I save all finds in treasure collection even ground scores and use it for gear

I still have most of my seeded hunt finds from years ago in an old snickers can. Don't do them anymore.
