So, a few months ago, passing over a small stream ( it runs in the spring and with heavy rains ) on my regular hunting grounds I noticed a few of these here beads. Well... going back after heavy rains I manage to pick up a few at a time, and now have a little handful. I'm asking myself though if it's worth it (still kinda fun picking them up though). Anyway take a look, and as usual any input is greatly appreciated.
By the way they are glass :)

Re: Could these be trade beads? (site video and pics added) + new beads found

a mock up of a bone type chest cover - made using wood type "dowels" instead of bone with bead work most likely interlaced in it -- if very old say mid 1800's and exposed to the elements I would think that the wood should have rotted and iron would be totally gone , but who knows?. -- cool bead finds any way --sharp eye.

the large stone item clearly looks like it has been "worked" on --by man

I would follow the stream uphill as far as I could all the while methodically looking for any other beads or possible artifacts. Being in the stream bed they likely washed down from higher up during a rain storm or ice melt. Is there an over hang or cave anywhere along the stream bed? If those wooden hollow tubes have been preserved and they are very old they would have had to come from a sheltered place along the stream bed. I still feel there is a cache somewhere upstream. Not necessarily gold and silver but perhaps just artifacts. Lets face it they have to come from somewhere if not just planted. Monty

OK but that core tool (uni or bifacial?) is the real deal. That alone is a super cool find. :hello2:
