With my digital calipers it measures 1.38 inches long and the thickness is from .43 to .58 inches depending on how I turn the object. I have no way of weighing the piece of lead but its heavy for its size. I dont see any rifling marks and both ends look solid , no conical indentions. Also looks to have taken a solid hit on something . On one side there is a split .65 inches long maybe 1/4 inch deep. Its pitted up bad and looks somewhat chewed but has the patina of old lead . Any ideas would be appreciated . Thanks and happy hunting .

Doesn't look like a fired bullet. Lead doesn't split - it flattens/mushrooms.
