Corundum var. "Sapphire" with Muscovite, Pyrite and Graphite (?)

Long wave UV photos reveal a fairly strong fluorescence.
Largest crystal approx. 6mm

Cascade Canyon, San Gabriel Mts, San Bernardino Co., California, USA

That's very nice, but my understanding was that ruby was the only corundum that fluoresced.

Some sapphires will fluorescence.

Thank you all! Yes, some Sapphires fluoresce. Especially pink Sapphires with a high chromium content!
