I stay away from Coinstar because they take about 9% of the money that you put in to it. Just my opinion. I clean and roll my own clad. If a coin is damaged, I usually put it in the middle of the roll and seal the roll. I then take it and deposit in the bank. So far, no problems and I've been doing it for over a year. Hope it helps.
