I spent a couple of afternoons hunting a field where a turn of the century farmstead was and found these. It was a little hard to swing in some spots but a 5 foot shovel made the digging easy.
The part of the earring is gold plated [I think].
The Bed Vandusen token is a mystery, as is the Little Jake box [2 1/2 by 1 1/2 inches] and the Zanado case [1 1/2 inches]. Best luck----Merf

You've been the Indian Cent KING lately! Some great finds again here! That gold object looked to me like a cufflink--the way it was monogrammed--but if it has a post like an earring on the back I'll believe ya...I wonder if it's just part of the shaft of the cufflink where it broke though... the other piece of it is probably in that field.

Nice interesting (silver or silver plate??) buckle in your miscellaneous photo at the bottom...I also like the bent skeleton key.

Great coins too!

Thanks Buckleboy-----The post on the back of that gold piece is broke off---Could be a cufflink.

I really like that intricately cast doorknob escutcheon plate in your Misc picture. Those and the knobs that go with them are very collectable.

Thanks for the info Okie---I see there are a couple listed on E-Bay but the design is not quite as fancy as mine.
I may E-Bay it when I get bored this winter.

Thanks Geo-----I cleaned the round tin up and it says Zanado.
I think it is a compact for rough or makeup.

Nothing like old gold. Awesome! Might want to check that buckle again...it looks like silver or silver plate to me. I have found several Victorian silver or silver-plated buckles. If it is silver or silver-plate, I'd love to see a photo of it all cleaned up.

Congrats again on some great finds,

Buckleboy

awesome finds merf ;D hope you get back there and finds more , goodluck and congrats ;)

Thanks again Buckleboy----I checked the possible buckle again and it is kind of thin and seems like a copper or brass alloy. Brass color.
