I know some dont save copper cents, but i find it to be a good investment. Yesterday i walk into one of my pick-up banks and buy all of the hand rolled cents that i can. They ended up having 34 rolls. The wrappers looked new, but i thought what the heck, it didnt matter cuz they were CWR. 30 of the rolls were Rapco brand/pre-crimped. I was thinking they were someones dumps as of recent cuz the other day i bought all of their CWR. I opened the other rolls first, cuz i thought they would be the best rolls out of the lot. It produced one really beat up 1942-D wheat, that looked like it was MD'ed, cuz about 6-8 other coins in the roll had dirt/corrosion/crud on them just like the wheat. Then i did the "Rapco" rolls. All rolls were pre-1995, with many coppers...they were someones dumps though cuz only one wheat in 30 rolls that they must have missed. The wheat was a REALLY nice 1939-S! I needed it for my folder, & it had a pretty low mintage! :hello2: Went back 2day & asked for all the CWR, thinking that the same person might have brought in other rolls 2. They said "we only have pennies, if ya want 'um", which means i was lied 2 since yesterday i bought "all" CWR of pennies. They had 10-crusty, old, lookin' rolls of pennies. Here were my end results:

day 1- 34 rolls of pennies=a little over 500 copper cents
day 2- 10 rolls of pennies=501 copper pennies (all rolls were solid rolls of copper, but one had 51 cents instead of 50 :laughing9:)
all of these rolls had dates and mint marks written on them, all from the 60's, and all of the coins in the rolls lived up to what they said they were. :laughing9:

enough rambling,
